Health, Safety and Fire Consultant
Job Description
With over 30 years of experience in the consulting sector, Ligtas are looking to recruit high-calibre team players. Ligtas teams deliver customer focussed audits, risk assessments and general consultancy advice to enable safe environments for our clients across the UK.
Locations
Ideally located to cover the South London area
The Role
You will be based at home with regular travel, including some overnight stays, working closely with other Ligtas team members. You will deliver excellent services to clients across a variety of sectors, including property, manufacturing, retail and banking. You will be client-focused, optimising performance to achieve the best results.

The Candidate
Essential
- UK based
- Health and Safety Degree, Certificate or equivalent, e.g. IOSH
- Experience in performing Fire Risk Assessments
- Familiarity with legislation and best practice
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Conscientious and enthusiastic
- Member of professional health and safety body, e.g. IOSH
- Flexibility with travel (we try to place you 2 hours from home, but this is not guaranteed)
Desirable
- Working towards chartered membership of IOSH
- Previous experience in the consultancy sector
- Fire qualification
- Qualification and/or experience in Fire Door Inspection
- Experience in specialist high-risk management services
- Water qualification

- Competitive salary depending on experience - Range £35 - £45 plus benefits
