Cycle, Summit, Speed Challenge
Back in September, Ligtas joined Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) on their ‘Summit, Cycle, Speed’ challenge in aid of Mind.
It was a tough test of both our team’s fitness and mental strength. There were more than 50 members of the Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) team, plus 4 members of the Ligtas team who challenged themselves to:
- Climb to the summit of the beautiful Mount Snowdon
- Undertake a challenging 20-mile cycle to Penrhyn Quarry
- And then finish off the day with an adrenaline-packed experience on the world’s fastest zip wire!
Target
The team more than doubled its original fundraising target for Mind, the mental health charity, raising an incredible £12,678 – more than double the original fundraising target of £5,000.
Commenting on the event, Donna Kennedy, Head of Business Development at Ligtas, said:
‘Mind is a well-known and important charity that positively promotes mental health, and Ligtas are delighted to have risen to the challenge to support the great team at LSH in helping them.’
She added, ‘We are also incredibly proud of the Ligtas team of Morgan, Donna, Colin, and Shawn, who supported LSH with this grueling challenge.’
